Out of the Shadows - Eastern Reef Egret
Acrylic on 300gsm Saunders Waterford paper; 20" x 20"
	I was struck by the way this egret was illuminated as it left its resting place in the shadows and emerged into the bright sunlight. The effect is exaggerated by the fact that this is a white-phase egret. Its mate, a grey-phase egret, would not have produced such a startling effect!
