As I completed this drawing of my elder daughter I felt it would only be of interest to those who know her, however, I eventually came to realise that the drawing is as much about being drenched in sunshine - the ecstasy of feeling totally alive - as it is about my daughter. Here she sits, eyes closed, enveloped in the warm embrace of the afternoon sun.
